Back in 2003, newlyweds Amy & Dan Deroche had just bought their first home together and the new family van to start a new life with their blended family of four children. Both had seen several large purchases and most with the same result: - no follow-up once the deal was complete.

This was not the case with two unique salespeople they each knew. One was a car salesman that would send a birthday card each year, not just because him and Dan celebrated January 30^th as the same special day (hint, hint) but this was his way of staying in touch with all of his friends, customers and family. The other a prominent real estate agent that made it a point to not only maintain this same touch on birthdays but monthly always letting you know she was there for you. Needless to say both had bought and sold several homes and cars with these two outstanding salespeople.

Speaking to several people in all industries Amy & Dan realized it was everyone’s intention to stay in touch with their circle of friends and customers but most lacked the follow through and commitment, hence they formed what is known today as iZon Greetings, LLC. The idea was to help others keep that top of mind awareness with their sphere of influence by sending a simple greeting card at times throughout the year when it was least expected.

Starting out from the loft of their home this simple idea grew faster than both could keep up with. Not to mention the blessing of their fifth child and iZon card star Oliver. Currently iZon employees a staff of eleven great friends, family and even customers (hey this really works). Their corporate offices are just up the road from their new home in South Windsor, CT and close to everyone’s schools. iZon offers each employee flexible scheduling stressing family first.

Today iZon has almost 70 reps selling our expanded card line throughout the United States and Canada. Each of them using the same simple philosophy of Dan & Amy to help small businesses stay connected with their friends, family and customers “making them smile one card at a time.”
